Pixar chief John Lasseter has taken a six-month leave of absence after The Hollywood Reporter published a report with misconduct allegations against him. The report stated that Rashida Jones left “Toy Story 4” because of an unwanted advance by Lasseter, but Jones has denied this in a statement, saying the real reason she left was because of a lack of diversity at Pixar. In a statement released by Jones and her writing partner Will McCormack, they said they were still “happy to see people speaking out about behavior that made them uncomfortable.”
