As if the appearance of J.J. Abrams wasn’t enough to get fans excited about next month’s Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, CA, it’s been announced that Gareth Edwards and Josh Trank have been added to the guest-list for the four-day event.
As revealed on StarWars.com, the two directors — responsible for the first two “standalone” movies in the revitalized franchise, 2016’s Star Wars: Rogue One and an as-yet untitled 2018 release — will join Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, vp development Kiri Heart and Pablo Hidalgo of the Star Wars story group for a conversation about “how the teams came together and are collaborating to conceive and create the upcoming stand-alone films in the galaxy far, far away.”
